Join Radical Glasgow Tours on this walk around the Southside and learn about a few of the area's radical histories, from Maoist bank robbers, sabotage and slavery to political song, anti-fascism and Yiddish theatre. This tour was once famously described as being packed with radical oral histories aka vintage leftwing gossip.
The tour will take us from the starting point outside Moyra Janes around East Pollokshields and through Govanhill to finish at Queens Park, covering 2 miles and taking 1.45-2 hrs.

Pricing: we have introduced a small charge for the tours this year, this is mainly to prevent no-shows. If you are able then contributing at the solidarity rate helps cover the costs of researching and delivering the tours, as well as purchasing radical tat/highly important social history artefacts for people to have a look at on the tours. If the cost is in any way a barrier to you taking part, please just drop us a line and we will sort you out with free tickets. NB because we have tickets set to be on a sliding price scale Eventbrite won't allow you to buy multiple tickets in one go.
