About this Event
Our Radical Black Future Speaker Series continues with the mesmerizing adrienne maree brown—New York Times bestselling author, visionary activist, and facilitator of profound change. Join us as brown holds space at the Minneapolis Institute of Art on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
Part two of our Radical Black Future Speaker Series invites you on a journey to explore the political, social, and communal landscapes of our time. This gathering will empower us to look beyond the divisions that so often separate us and instead embrace our shared humanity—more united, more connected, more whole.
In this space of possibility, we welcome adrienne maree brown—a magical thinker, dreamer, and guide of fractal transformation. Brown has dedicated a lifetime to deepening our understanding of our relationships with each other and the world around us. What lies within our control? What if the very things we thought divided us were the keys to our collective connection?
Rooted in the rich tradition of Black radicalism, this dialogue will showcase the boldest and most vibrant voices of today’s radical thought. Radical Black futurism invites us to transcend the confines of the present and imagine the vastness of what could be. In this live conversation, brown will be joined by The Forum’s Creative Cultural Producer, Gabrielle Grier, as they explore the possibilities of tomorrow.
