Radiant One, by Heller Theatre Company's Playwright-in-Residence Carlyn Flint, is a loose adaptation of The Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, first published in Kashmir around 800 C.E. We are seeking actors, singers, dancers, and musicians to help bring this original piece to life. Resumes & Headshots are accepted, we will be reading from the script. If auditioning for a musical role please prepare an a capella song or a song on your own instrument. We are specifically searching for a Sitar or Ribab player of any age or gender.

Actors & Musicians of South Asian descent are encouraged to come audition! This tale is set in Kashmir, 800 CE and is a loose adaptation of an ancient spiritual text central to Kashmir Shaivism: The Vijnana Bhairava Tantra.
Reva, a free spirit born into a rigid world, lives a life in search of answers. Why does hunger exist? Who are we meant to love? And how does form exist within formless?
The piece will include original songs by NYU professor Shruti Kumar and her students, live sound baths by Nicholas Ray Bradford and plenty of puppetry. May we all be one!
