RADAЯ: Experimental Session #5 invites you to a unique double performance by two fierce voices in experimental sound: Gubbi Ann and Marina Cyrino.
On stage:
🌀 Gubbi Ann (no pronouns) is a silver-haired gentlepunk and sonic trickster who thrives in dis/comfort zones filled with oscillators, circuit-bending, drone, noise, ambient, and DIY electronics. Gubbi’s practice is grounded in intersectional feminism and collective structures — echoing from squats to galleries, from underground festivals to intimate performances.
🎈 Marina Cyrino, a Brazilian flutist and sound artist based in Berlin, reimagines the flute through hyper-amplification, DIY objects, and ballooned interventions. Her pieces explore the body, materiality and the radical (de)construction of sonic traditions. Her gestures challenge the phallogocentric legacy of the flute and open up playful, untamed listening spaces.
🎧 Together, they present a duo of shifting textures, improvisation, and sonic fabulation — stretching the boundaries of instruments, bodies, and noise.
