Local Registration Closing!! Register for the 2026 Local Soap Box Derby which will be held on Saturday, June 20th! Piedmont Area Soap Box Derby has cars available to loan to your interested racer! Come by on Sunday, May 3rd from 1:30 to 4:30pm at Paul Bates Raceway. You'll be able to get a car assigned and begin working on it to fit it to your potential racer. Weather and time permitting your child may be able to have their trial runs and earn their racing license on May 3rd!
