The RACE2THESKY is an ultimate gravel biking adventure set to take place on Saturday, February 7th, 2026, starting at 7:00 am from Uitzicht Game Lodge, Fouriesburg in the Eastern Free State.Challenge Options & Categories
Riders can choose from three distances, all open to both Men and Women (Open Class):
DASH (50km): A great introduction.
QUEST (86km): The middle distance for those looking to "take it up a notch."
165km (100 Miles): The ULTIMATE test of endurance.
There are no separate bike categories; riders can use a Mountain Bike or a Gravel Bike. E-bikes can participate but are not eligible for podium positions.
The Experience
The race offers a unique opportunity to test endurance and skills while immersing oneself in the breathtaking landscapes of the Eastern Free State, including the Witteberge and Maluti Mountains. The scenery, featuring stunning views and vibrant fauna and flora, is described as being as challenging as the race itself.
