Read Alliance is an impactful nonprofit organization that works to improve literacy skills for under-resourced, early elementary students through the power of local Teen Leaders who act as one-to-one reading tutors.
Read's dual-impact model both ensures early elementary students get critical reading support that is foundational to future academic success, and also promotes economic empowerment and professional development among teens in low-income areas.
