Gus Marks-Hamilton
Licensed Master Social Worker, Advocate, and Educator
Gus believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a life of dignity, prosperity, and safety. A passionate social justice advocate, Gus has led legislative campaigns for the ACLU of Connecticut, promoting fairness and transparency in the criminal legal system and defending civil rights and liberties.
He currently teaches at the UConn School of Social Work and brings a wealth of knowledge on advocacy, policy, and community engagement. Outside of work, Gus enjoys running, spending time with his nieces and nephews, and caring for his loyal dog, Frank.
