Offering this unique combination of Restorative Yoga & Light Reiki touch creates a beautiful opportunity for you to relax and reconnect, a deeper level. Breathe and let your body settle into pillows, cushions and props positioned to support the body in releasing tension and stress. Each Restorative pose will be held for approximately 10 minutes to bring the body into a deeply healing meditative state. As you melt into the poses, you will be offered Reiki, a gentle, hands-on technique that channels life force energy through the subtle body to promote deep relaxation, balance and well-being. This practice encourages the nervous system to quiet and allows for healing on a physical and emotional level.
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique that promotes stress reduction and relaxation. Reiki helps remove blockages in the energy field and creates space within for improved clarity, comfort, and calm. Energy healing goes beyond the physical body and facilitates healing by clearing blocks in the energy fields and repairing and rebalancing the individual’s energy so the body can access its own innate healing ability.
Michelle is a Certified Reiki Master as well as certified Yoga Instructor. Michelle is a natural intuitive and is passionate about integrating healing energy with Yoga with compassion for individual and community wellbeing. She incorporates a traditional Reiki energy therapy transmission, mindfulness and yoga to create a healing combination for deep physical emotional and spiritual healing.
