On the first Thursday of every month, The Winemaker’s Pub hosts a quiz that is, in equal measure, seasonal and sensible. Expect a handful of different rounds, loosely guided by whatever the calendar happens to be throwing at us — from sport and celebrations to the odd festive curveball.Teams of up to six are welcome, entry is free, and the first question lands at 7pm sharp. There are nibbles to keep the brain ticking over, drinks to reward the merely enthusiastic, and a small measure of glory for the team that knows their onions.
In short: a monthly quiz, lightly themed, faintly competitive, and a very good excuse to look clever over a pint. 🍻
