Quintron and Miss Pussycat plus
Weather Warlock Sunset Ritual
Orange Show Center World HQ
Quintron and Miss Pussycat have been making genre-defying noise and hard-rocking dance music in New Orleans for over twenty years. The majority of their 17 full-length albums have the psychedelic soul of traditional New Orleans party music, filtered through Quintron’s Hammond organ and his battalion of distorted, homemade instruments and Miss Pussycat’s dreamy puppet worlds, elaborate and beautifully crafted for success in intimate venues of late-night drinking and dancing.
Weather Warlock is a low voltage weather controlled analog drone synthesizer developed at the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation in Captiva, Florida. While the weather sensors are fixed in New Orleans and upstate New York, the synthesizer travels for live performances as the Weather Warlock Sunset Ritual featuring local guests, which lasts for thirty minutes beginning precisely at 8:16 pm.
