About this Event
The Summit Workshop is a follow-up to the RevitalizeSA Corridor Project Summit held at the REC in November, where previous corridor efforts were recognized, current community projects were presented, and next steps were identified.
This informative and strategic workshop will continue this momentum by further developing a community-led revitalization plan for the greater Quintana corridor. The Summit Workshop is part of the Quintana Empowerment and Resiliency Project, a COSA RevitalizeSA Corridor Leadership Program Initiative. The 2025 COSA Program partnered with Main Street America to provide a nine-month leadership development training for cohort corridor community members with an opportunity to access grant funding for a corridor project.
The project is designed to provide tangible small business benefits and establish a framework for a realistic vision and strategic plan for a revitalized and prosperous Quintana corridor.
The project would focus on small business and nonprofit economic empowerment and resiliency. It will empower these entities through collaborative strategic planning, capacity building and access to resources.
The project will build on the work of the Quintana Community South San Main Street Project and the RevitalizeSA 2024 Cohort Revive Quintana Project. The recent 2024 Project established a website and began marketing revitalization outreach to local businesses with investments in corridor façade improvements. The corridor has a rich authentic history and classic main street architectural design. It is a hidden San Antonio treasure waiting to be revealed.
