A new series of four Quilting Basics classes will be taught by teacher Liz Granberg-Jerome on Mondays, July 8 & 22 and August 12 & 26. Quilting Basics Part 1 will guide you through rotary cutting and stitching an accurate 1/4" seam. Practice making sample units with Liz before making a complete block that will include straight piecing and triangle units to give you an opportunity to put your new skills to use. Bonus block patterns are included in each session to make a sampler quilt at the end of the series. Liz shares loads of tips to make your quilting experience fun. This is a great series for new quilters or for those wishing to hone their skills.
Class will be held 5:30pm to 9:00pm at the Lumberyard Arts Center in Baldwin City, KS. Class fee: $35. Click the "Tickets" link to get to the Quilters' Paradise website to enroll and pay online.
