Welcome to the Quilt Club at the Library at Chase | Detroit Public Library! Join us on the first and third Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for a fun and creative quilting session.
Whether you're a seasoned quilter or just starting out, this event is perfect for all skill levels. Bring your own materials or use some of ours - either way, you're sure to have a great time quilting with fellow enthusiasts. Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with others and work on your latest project.
This Summer we will begin the ! Join us to create your own quilt, block by block finishing in December.
The entire quilt-along with free patterns and videos for each block is archived on the Fat Quarter Shop's Jolly Jabber blog, so you can complete these blocks at any pace or in any order.

September 16: Block 8
October 7 : Block 9

October 21 : Finishing the Quilt Top
November 4 : The Quilt Sandwich
November 14 (Saturday)
November 18 : Quilting or Tying your Quilt
December 2: Binding Your Quilt
December 13 (Saturday)
December 16: Celebration
Three machines and several cutting mats, rulers, and rotary cutters will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own. Some fabric will be available, but you may wish to bring your own for this project. The nine blocks will take 12 fat quarters. Complete fabric requirements and a coloring sheet for planning are on the blog.
Beginners welcome! Teens to Adults
Registration on Eventbrite is always appreciated but never required.
