About this Event
The mind requires our attention before it will quiet. Natalie Goldberg, writer and lifelong student of Zen, says “To stay close and intimate with experience is to stay close to the mind; the nitty gritty mind of the way things really are.” This workshop teaches the tools to bring compassionate, silent attention to what is happening inside.
If mindfulness is already part of your practice, this weekend will support and deepen your work. Focus will be on attending, with compassion and curiosity, to the many voices within.
This online workshop alternates short presentations with exercises and is presented in a step-by-step format, allowing plenty of time to take in the material. Eight (8) CEUs.
The teaching team is Roxanne Peterson PhD, LMHC, RN, CHT, certified Hakomi therapist, and senior trainer; Kristina (Kris) Cook, LMHC, CDP, CHT, certified Hakomi therapist and teacher; and Derek Althauser, CC, CHT, CTB®GL, certified Hakomi therapist and teacher.
