About this Event
The mind requires our attention before it will quiet. Natalie Goldberg, writer and lifelong student of Zen, says “To stay close and intimate with experience is to stay close to the mind; the nitty gritty mind of the way things really are.” This workshop teaches the tools to bring compassionate, silent attention to what is happening inside.
If mindfulness is already part of your practice, this weekend will support and deepen your work. Focus will be on attending, with compassion and curiosity, to the many voices within.
This two-day workshop alternates short presentations with exercises and is presented in a step-by-step format, allowing plenty of time to take in the material. Event will begin at 10:00 am and end at 3:30 pm on each scheduled day. Eight (8) CEUs.
