About this Event
Want to meet other queer and trans high school students in a safe(r) space while also having fun?
Come join us for TRIVIA and PIZZA at Glad Day! This event is for people14-18 only.
How does it work?
You will be put in a team with 5-6 people you don’t know.
There will be 2 rounds of trivia. Each round, you will change teams! So, by the end of the event you will have met 10-12 new people. Each round lasts about 40 minutes - just long enough to get to know someone’s vibe but not so long you are stuck with them all night!
Do I need to RSVP?
No, you don’t need to RSVP - you can just show up!
BUT people who RSVP are guaranteed 1-2 slices of free pizza and a drink. If you don’t RSVP we might not have ordered enough pizza for you.
Can I come alone?
Yes! You can come alone. Everyone will be put into teams, so coming alone is totally cool.
Can I bring a friend who is a straight ally?
Yes! You can bring a straight friend.
Some notes on safety
This event is organized by a group of teens in Toronto.
People over 18 will not be allowed to attend the event. You may be asked for ID to prove you are a current high school student or under 19.
There will be a few adults present to help maintain a safer space. These are professionals who work with youth; they are certified to work with youth and vulnerable people, with current background checks.
Accessibility stuff:
The venue is fully wheelchair accessible. There are 2 accessible washrooms, buttons for the entrance at street level and elevators between floors.
