Queer Salsa Dance classes for Queer Folx and Allies by Queer folx are finally here!!
When? Where?
Starting Oct 8th, Sunday classes will be held at the LGBT Center 3:30-5pm in the West Village.
What?
We will have an hour of class followed by 30 mins of open floor to practice, socialize, mingle and make friends. Then we will go to a nearby bar for a drink. Why not?!These are drop-in classes on Salsa Fundamentals: great for absolute beginners, folks looking for a refresher course and experienced salsa dancers wanting to transition into NY style On2 Salsa.
Who?
Your instructor will be Vimal (he/him), assisted by Kat (she/her) or Emily (she/her). They have extensive knowledge and passion for Salsa dance with a lot of experience in performing, competing, teaching and social dancing.
How?
Suggested Donation is $20. Don't let this stop you from attending our classes. Pay what you can. We accept cash, venmo, paypal and zelle before and after class.
