This year, for our 5th anniversary, we invite you to join us for a grand spectacle under a looming big top, where wicked curiosities beyond your wildest imagination await around every corner…It’s a Dark Circus!
Step right up, ladies, gentlemen, freaks, geeks, and everyone in between! Come one, come all! 🤹♂️
Whether you missed out on a prom that truly reflected you or just want another chance to dance the night away in a space that celebrates love, authenticity, and self-expression, this is your moment.

At Queer Prom, we want to unabashedly, unrelentingly revel in queer joy, especially since the establishment would see prefer to see us miserable. Celebration alone, however, won’t carry us through; we must pair it with action to effectively resist! This is why we are dedicating this year’s party as a fundraising effort to keep a vital community organization- RUMAH- up, running, & here for the people of the Triangle!
About RUMAH: The Raleigh United Mutual Aid Hub is a volunteer-led, community-funded social center in Raleigh, North Carolina. Established 2023, they’ve since platformed hundreds of events, activist groups, and community initiatives. RUMAH serves as a point of connection between residents, communities, & mutual aid projects around Raleigh, NC.
Why RUMAH needs our help: September 30, 2026 will officially be the final day of the lease for RUMAH’s current home at 415 Hillsborough Street. This means they have less than a year left at The Hub, and are looking for the future site of Raleigh United Mutual Aid Hub. Extending the lease for the current location is not an option, and they need support as they figure out what the next chapter may be. In preparation for moving to a new space, they are seeking donations to help plan, identify realistic prospects, and build a more stable financial future.
In times like these, it’s even more imperative that local organizations like RUMAH remain active & able to provide resources that our community members deserve!
