About this Event
▬▬▬ GREETINGS BROTHERS ▬▬▬
This invitation extends to those in the Region of Peel.
This location typically meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.
If you aim to attend, please register a ticket so we know to expect you.
IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME attending, it is appreciated that you read our & . This is for you to self identify that your presence honours the integrity of the group.
Currently, we are working through a series focussing on "self-limiting archetypes" which will span a few weeks. Exploring our psyche and actions through these unique lenses will grant us much depth to work through with each other.
The Brampton Circle serves primarily as a safe and welcoming space for peer support. Here, you can share on the personal experiences currently impacting your life journey. The purpose of expressing in our circle, is to build a practice of exploring and expanding the reach and quality of our communication, both in our ability to introspect and in connecting with others. You will have the opportunity to be supported in opening up emotionally, and to strengthen the mind-body connection. In essence, we're creating a community filled with care, compassion, and trust, through authentic self-expression. You're free to share about any topic that matters to you, not just those related to sexuality or orientation. This is a space to face who you are, bravely share that, and feel empowered in doing so!

Our gathering will open with a brief introduction and check-in with each other, followed by a short guided meditation process to help create a sense of calm and receptivity. We then practice somatic awareness and wrap up with either creative movement or an opening exercise to get our sharing spirit up and running.
The remainder of our time together is dedicated to each individual having an opportunity to share what is alive and active on the heart and mind. We will honour everyone having a chance to speak, and if you are feeling “stuck” on what to share, a group facilitator may offer you guidance or questions to help you unpack your situation.
One individual shares at a time, and indicates when complete so we know someone else can speak. If you wish to be only an observer and pass on sharing, you have that option as well. If you feel triggered during anyone’s share, you’re invited to notice that experience and express it during your turn to speak. Just remember that being triggered reveals and reflects our unique experience, and has nothing to do with another person. We strive to take responsibility for our own feelings.
In our more general sharing circles, when you feel ambiguity in pinning down a starting point for expressing, you can reference this list of life domains to ponder on which arena of your life calls attention for more nurturing:
- Family / Chosen Family / Community
- Social & Friendships
- Romance
- Physical Health
- Mental Health
- Finances
- Career
- Fun & Leisure
- Spirituality
- Purpose
We will then have another go-around where we can offer feedback (for those open to receiving), and reflect our own relatable life experiences and how we rise to our challenges! This is not to give advice, but offering another point of view that we have lived through and learned from.
You are also encouraged to bring a journal if you use one, as it can be a helpful tool to note your thoughts, feelings and triggers as they arise, or to reflect more on what someone else has said.
The vision behind these gatherings is for men to increase their confidence in the face of discomfort, connect with the meaning of their life experiences, and uncover one’s inner genius and gifts. Come join us, if you wish to explore a deeper connection with yourself and camaraderie with our fellow brothers, as we journey on a path toward self-discovery and self-mastery!
