An art exhibition celebrating 'queer joy'!We ran a questionnaire that asked LGBTQ+ people their experience of queer joy; what it felt like, what caused it and so on. The exhibition is created based on the beautiful, uplifting responses we received, and highlights the voices of the queer community.
'Queer joy' is a feeling of happiness directly related to someone's experiences as a queer person. Some of our wonderful responses described it as "all-surrounding and glowing with the light of a million suns"; "like EXPLOSIONS like major big butterfly boom"; "like finding something you never knew you’d lost". All these beautiful words and more will be on display at Mt Roskill Library during February!
