Join Us for the Queer Film Club Spring Return by the Sexualities Research Group SPAIS - Bend It Like Beckham (2002)

Dear all,

We hope you had a restorative Winter break - please join us for the Spring return of the Sexualities Research Group’s Queer Film Club! This time, come along and watch Bend It Like Beckham (2002). Whether you know Bend It for its nostalgic reflection of an optimistically multicultural England, its funny coming of age plotlines, or its cult status as a lesbian classic, we're #holdingspace for thinking about queer friendship with this film. As usual, refreshments will be provided, and you’re welcome to join us afterwards for a drink at The Robin Hood pub.
