Join us for a Queer Figure Drawing Class, a space to celebrate creativity, gender expression, and the beauty of the human form. Hosted by Charlotte Thrives and led by artist Sky Hummels, this beginner-friendly session will introduce form construction techniques while emphasizing presence over perfection in the artistic process.
Sky’s work is deeply rooted in the exploration of gender, and this class is a welcoming environment for queer artists and allies to experiment, connect, and create. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or picking up a pencil for the first time, you’re encouraged to come as you are and enjoy the process.
🔹 What to Bring: Your favorite drawing materials (sketchbook, pencils, charcoal, etc.)
🔹 What to Expect: A guided, supportive space to explore figure drawing through a queer lens
🔹 Who’s Invited: LGBTQ+ creatives & allies of all skill levels
Let’s make art, build community, and celebrate self-expression together! 🌈✨
What Sky wants you to walk away with...
"The experience of seeing and being seen compassionately while celebrating queerness."
