Queer Easels Vol 14

Join us for an evening filled with queer art from south florida at Queer Easels Vol 14. The monthly pop up hosted at the Gaythering on the Bay end of Lincoln Road! The show will take place on Sat Jan 25, 2024 at 1409 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, FL 33139.

To exand the show in 2025 we will now be featuring an Art Talk at 7PM where the artists will introduce themselves, their techniques and let people know what they're working on in the coming year. The art panel will also feature an free art raffel of work from the presenting artists - you must be present to win.

About Vol. 14 artists:

Jacob Brown hails from Bakersfield, California, receiving his M.F.A from Ohio University and then went it to NYC where he had an extensive career in entertainment design. Jacob Brown's artwork serves as a window into the queer experience, elevating everyday moments and encouraging viewers to find beauty in the seemingly ordinary. Michael-Birch Pierce is a fiber artist and fashion designer who creates 5 minute live portraits with their sewing machine. They have performed their embroidered portraits at Oscar and Super Bowl events, Design/Miami, and SXSW, and worked with clients such as Levi’s, Visa, Google, and the Obama White House.

Danny Bryan Gonzalez AKA RareDankArt (Miami, Florida 1994) is a Gemini sun, Cancer moon, Pisces rising, second generation Cuban-American that has been online since 1999. Danny first learned HTML on MySpace and believes that all Users are biohackers.

Patrick Louis is the creator and organizer of the Queer Easels pop up art shows and is a mixed media based artist based in Miami Beach Florida. He starts his work with photographs he has taken in South Florida and the Carribean and then layers on acrylic paint to create mixed media paintings focusing on queer life in Miami Beach and underwater conservation.
