Step into the new year with movement, community, and queer joy. Our Queer Ballroom Winter Intensive is a 6 week program designed to help dancers of all experience levels grow, connect, and have fun. Whether you’re brand new to partner dancing or ready to level up your skills, we have a class that will meet you exactly where you are.

These classes offer a welcoming and inclusive learning environment where everyone can dance in the role that feels right for them. No partner or prior experience needed for the beginner level.

BEGINNER LEVEL – 6 Week Intensive - 6-7pm

Perfect for newcomers and anyone eager to build confidence on the dance floor. Terrified beginners are especially welcome.
You’ll learn foundational steps, connection techniques, and introductory movements from several ballroom and Latin dances in a friendly, supportive setting.

LEVEL 2 – 6 Week Intensive - 7:8:30pm

For dancers who already have basic partner dance knowledge. This series focuses on expanding technique, learning new variations, improving styling, and deepening partner connection. By the end of the intensive, you’ll have a fuller understanding of ballroom and Latin movement and a more confident presence on the floor.

Program Structure

The Winter Intensive is offered in two parts:
Part 1: January 6, 13, 20
Part 2: February 9, 16, 23

Both levels follow the same schedule structure and meet once per week.
A short two week break between Part 1 and Part 2 allows dancers time to rest and absorb what they’ve learned before continuing the journey. If you have conflicting schedules and can't make the full series, you may register for Part 1 only at this time. Registration for Part 2 will open in early January.
