P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome back Nora Neus to celebrate and discuss her latest book, ; a minute-by-minute account of the January 6 riots through never-before-heard stories of those who were there.
Nora will be joined in conversation by Timothy J. Heaphy, author of . Along with a discussion and audience Q&A, Nora will also sign copies of her book.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Nora Neus is an Emmy-nominated producer, author, and freelance journalist with bylines in CNN, The Guardian, Teen Vogue, VICE News, POLITICO Magazine, The Washington Post, and more. She is the author of adult nonfiction books 24 Hours in Charlottesville: An Oral History of the Stand Against White Supremacy and 24 Hours at the Capitol: An Oral History of the January 6 Insurrection, YA historical fiction graphic novel Renegade Girls: A Queer Tale of Romance and Rabble-Rousing, and co-author of middle-grade graphic memoir Muhammad Najem, War Reporter: How One Boy Put The Spotlight on Syria. Nora helps other storytellers reach new audiences through her media development and editorial services company Longform Lab Media Group.
ABOUT THE MODERATOR
Timothy J. Heaphy was Chief Investigative Counsel of the House of Representatives Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol. He also oversaw the independent investigation into the August 12, 2017 riot in Charlottesville, Virginia. He is currently partner at Willkie, Farr & Gallagher LLP and previously served as the Obama-appointed US Attorney for the Western District of Virginia. He lives in Charlottesville, Virginia with his family.
