Queer Art Ink Day is exactly what it sounds like: a joyful, unapologetically queer flash tattoo day celebrating self-expression, chosen family, and art that lives on your skin.Hosted at CaliLou’s Tattoos in Hamilton East, this one-day event is about identity, memory, rebellion, and belonging, which happen to also be deeply woven into queer history and culture. Queer Art Ink Day is a celebration of that lineage, supporting local artists and creating a space where queerness is not just accepted, but centred.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
🎨 Exclusive themed flash designs
🖤 Professional tattooing by CaliLou’s trusted artists
🌈 A safe, affirming space for LGBTQIA+ communities and allies
✨ Drop-in tattoos (first come, first served)
🎶 Good tunes, good people, and good energy
Flash designs will be available on the day, with pricing clearly displayed. Tattoos are done on a ‘first in, first served’ basis. So, arrive early, bring your ID, and be ready to fall in love with a design.
