About this Event
Cal Q&A is excited to announce the 2026 Queer & Asian Conference at UC Berkeley! The theme of QACON 2026 is IGNITE, taking the warmth of last year’s “bloom” and furthering it with flames of action. Confronting the rapidly escalating systematic violence of the past year, IGNITE envisions collective power and mobilization, honoring the sparks that have already been lit, and igniting new ones to burn down structures of injustice.
We are excited to welcome a keynote speaker (to be announced soon), short film screenings, a wonderful alumni panel, and a wide variety of workshops for the queer & Asian community.
The conference is open to all community members at UC Berkeley, the greater Bay Area, and beyond. Breakfast and lunch will be catered. We are aiming to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and nut-free dietary restrictions.
QACON 2026 will be held in the UC Berkeley Student Union building and is ADA accessible.
Please RSVP by March 31st to reserve your seat at QACON. We look forward to seeing you there!
