Explore an impressive line-up of original military vehicles dating back to World War I - including the legendary 1941 GMC 6x6 “truck that won the war,” the rare Australian Dingo Scout Car, the powerful Saracen Armoured Personnel Carrier, Diamond Rio Prime Mover, and the rugged Desert Raider.
Enjoy guided tours, live entertainment and kids’ activities throughout the morning.
From 10:30am–1:30pm, enjoy a special roving performance by The Gowrie Gals. With beautiful three-part harmonies inspired by WWII troop entertainers, this costumed trio will mingle with guests and bring the spirit of the 1940s to life with charm, energy and plenty of vintage flair.
While you're there, pop into the Lockyer Valley Art Gallery inside the Cultural Centre and meet artist Jennifer Marshell, whose Light Horse artworks beautifully capture the powerful bond between soldier and horse during wartime.
