Queensgate Shopping Centre are working in proud collaboration with Heritage Bengal Global and Bengali Sanskriti Club Peterborough is happy to announce two remarkable events this February and March: the Bengal Heritage Idol and a special International Women’s Day inspired Fashion Show.
On 22 March 2025 Queensgate Shopping Centre will proudly host the Bengal Heritage Idol an event of monumental cultural importance. The Bengal Heritage Idol was created by students of a design school in Kolkata made from recycled materials.
This stunning artwork will be on display at Queensgate for a month-long showcase offering visitors a chance to experience the artistry and cultural significance of one of the largest festivals in the world.
In addition on 8 March Queensgate will celebrate International Women’s Day with a community-driven fashion show that highlights and empowers the women of Peterborough. Taking place in March this event will feature women from all walks of life showcasing their unique stories styles and strength on the runway.
The Bengal Heritage Idol will be on display from 22 March to late March while the International Women’s Day Fashion Show will take place on 8 March. Both events promise
to be unforgettable experiences that highlight the unique blend of culture and community at Queensgate Shopping Centre.
