On Monday 13 April, join Dr Amy Saunders to explore how sixteenth and seventeenth century royal women are reimagined in film, television and media.
This talk will discuss a range of European consort and regnant queens including Mary, Queen of Scots, Elizabeth I, Christina of Sweden, Henrietta Maria and Catherine of Braganza.
It will examine themes such as motherhood and fertility, gender and sexuality, and religion and conflict.
