“Quantum Computation and Quantum Simulation with Strings of Trapped Ca+ Ions”
Professor Rainer Blatt is a leading experimental physicist at the University of Innsbruck, known for pioneering work in quantum information science using trapped ions. Professor Rainer Blatt’s lecture will review the advanced capabilities of the trapped-ion quantum computer at Innsbruck and showcase quantum-enhanced sensing of an optical transition through collective quantum correlations. His research has enabled breakthroughs in quantum computing, including quantum teleportation between atoms and scalable quantum processors.
