Welcome to the Quad Cities Changemakers Gathering!
Project Now, Inc. is excited to invite you to the The QC Change-Makers Celebration! First, it allows us to say thank you for doing what you do for so many in our community. It’s our way of saying we see you, value, and appreciate the partnership. Our work is built on the foundation of meaningful relationships and if the Quad Cities Region is going to see a serious reduction in poverty and an expansion of opportunity is going to require strong relationships. Second, the reception will bring together the most diverse group of change-makers. Our organization engages poverty through 5 pillars, (Education, Economic, Housing, Health Care and Justice) which allows us to be more holistic in our endeavors. We partner with local entrepreneurs and corporations, politicians and local activists, non-profits and grassroots efforts, hospitals and transportation providers, food banks and homeless shelters, colleges and universities, city and state government, law enforcement and prisons, faith institutions and banking institutions, property owners and homeless advocates to accomplish our mission. Your attendance places you among those equally recognized for their hard work and determination to make a local and lasting change. Our collective challenge is poverty is persistent. Poverty is problematic in so many ways, but I have come to know poverty does not have to be permanent! Together, we can end poverty in our region.
