Join us for this special Women's Month edition of our Secret Spot Songwriters Camp in Downtown, Los Angeles! This 3-day songwriters camp honors the women and queer folks working in the entertainment industry and is made for all producers and musicians ready to take their craft to the next level!

WHY THE QTBIPOC OPEN MIC CONTEST MATTERS

This contest is dedicated to uplifting and amplifying the voices of up-and-coming Black, queer, and minoritized musicians. We partner with leading organizations to ensure our winners get access to exclusive opportunities that can propel their careers forward.


HOW IT ALL WORKS:

Perform your best original song to win; secure your spot in the first half of the Open Mic Contest on March 23rd by purchasing a Guaranteed Performance Pre-Sale Ticket. These are limited and will give you priority access to perform.
General Admission Tickets 🎟️
If you don’t grab a Pre-Sale ticket, don’t worry! You can still purchase a General Admission Ticket to watch or line-up for a chance to perform in the second half of the contest on a first-come, first-served basis. (~20 slots available)

Songwriters Camp Tickets 🎟️

About the Event:
Join us for an incredible three-day Songwriters Camp & Open Mic Contest created to inspire, educate, and connect local women & lgbtq+ songwriters of all levels.
Our Secret Spot Songwriters Camp features multiple guest speakers, industry experts, in-studio time and hands-on coaching to help you hone your craft, network and collaborate with up-and-coming producers and, songwriters, and create original music for incredible artists.
Each day is structured to provide invaluable learning & networking opportunities. you will write at least 1 song each day and receive songwriting tips, vocal warm-ups and much more.
During this three-day camp your group will participate in daily writing sessions and a live performance on Sunday. Don’t miss this special opportunity to pitch your songs and perform live at Angel City Brewery in Downtown Los Angeles.

Whether you're a seasoned pro or just getting started, this is the place to learn, create, and collaborate with fellow songwriters and musicians. Join us for a full weekend of:

  • Co-Writing Exercise

Learn directly from industry experts, including Anton Melihov, Cameron Ljungkull, and other top-tier musicians and producers from across the country. Whether you’re seeking constructive feedback for your exisiting songs or just looking to experince your first co-writing session, you’ll walk away with new skills, new songs, and valuable connections.
