Bachata is a dance originally from rural Dominican Republic that has evolved into a family of dance forms still referred to as Bachata, which are now danced all over the world. The word bachata originally referred to an impromptu party.
Kizomba is a close embrace dance from Angola in southern Africa. The word kizomba means "celebration" or "party" in Kimbundu.
