You do NOT need to be a professional. If you live, work, volunteer, or care about people in our community, this training is for you!
🧠QPR Suicide Prevention Training (Question • Persuade • Refer)
-QPR is a nationally recognized suicide prevention training that teaches anyone age 16+ how to recognize warning signs and respond when someone may be thinking about suicide. It functions much like CPR for mental health emergencies.
What You’ll Learn:
* How to recognize warning signs and risk factors for suicide
* How to ask direct, tough questions when someone is at risk
* How to persuade and refer someone to appropriate, life-saving resources
* How to become a “Gatekeeper”—someone prepared to step in and help during a mental health crisis
🚑 Narcan (Naloxone) Overdose Response Training
-This training teaches participants how to recognize an opioid overdose and safely administer Narcan (naloxone)—a medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose and save a life.
Training Covers:
* Current data & trends on the opioid and fentanyl epidemic
* How to identify an opioid overdose or accidental poisoning
* What Narcan is and how it works in the body
* Step-by-step guidance on how to administer Narcan
* Best practices for storage, emergency response, and post-event support
💥 Each participant will receive two Narcan kits following the training.
✅ Who Should Attend?
This training is open to anyone—parents, grandparents, educators, youth leaders, faith leaders, service workers, caregivers, friends, neighbors, and community members who want to be prepared to help.
You don’t have to be an expert—just willing to care!
