i understand is hosting a QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention Training led by our Executive Director, Kasie. QPR is often compared to CPR—but for mental health. In just 1–2 hours, you’ll learn how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, ask the right questions, offer hope, and connect someone to the help they need.
This evidence-based training is designed for anyone who wants to be prepared to help in a mental health crisis. Whether you’re a friend, family member, coworker, or community member, QPR will give you the tools and confidence to step in and potentially save a life.
