Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice developed by Qigong Masters who were curious about humans, nature, the universe and all that is. These principles have been shared through generations for over 5000 years. Many may be familiar with Tai Chi, which was born from the Qigong principles ~ 700 years ago.
We not only live in the universe, but we are a PART of the universe. When we are in sync with nature, the seasons, and the universe at large, we are healthy, happy, and grounded. When we are not in sync with the world around us, it can lead to challenges. Energetic blockages can develop, impeding the open flow of energy through our energy channels. If the blockages are not removed energy does not flow freely and can lead to ‘dis-ease’, illness.
Join Qigong Practice Group Leader, Sharon Bednar, for an evening of gentle movement, meditation and connection. Sharon has been a nurse for nearly 30 years and discovered Qigong in 2020, instantly resonating with its principles. Having completed all five levels of training, she now shares this practice as the perfect partner to Western medicine and a blending of knowledge that supports a happier, healthier life.
