About this Event
Join Qi Yun Studio for a hands-on workshop where you will design and make a foldable pleated tote bag inspired by Issey Miyake. This session is led by a fashion industry professional and takes place inside a professional manufacturing workspace at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
During this 3-hour workshop, you’ll explore pleating logic, folding structure, and material behavior while creating a finished tote bag to take home. No prior sewing experience is required.
Materials are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own fabrics or trims if you’d like to personalize your piece.

The Brooklyn Navy Yard cannot be accessed without taking the ferry.
