Are you looking for a way to unwind after work, de-stress your body and mind, and sleep better at night?
**Calm Body, Quiet Mind – Evening Tai Chi & Qi Gong (Beginners)** is a gentle, beginner-friendly practice designed for evening relaxation, stress relief, grounding, and overall wellbeing — everyone is welcome.
*Tai Chi* is a slow, flowing movement practice often described as “meditation in motion,” while *Qi Gong (Taoist Yoga)* focuses on cultivating and balancing your internal energy (Qi). Together, they combine gentle movement, breath, and awareness to support physical, emotional, and mental harmony.
Rooted in centuries of Daoist tradition, these practices are known to calm the nervous system, improve circulation, and help you feel more centred and at ease.
In each calm, one-hour session, you’ll be guided to:
✨ Release tension from the body and settle the nervous system
✨ Quiet the mind and ease daily stress
✨ Improve circulation, energy flow, and flexibility
✨ Support better sleep and deeper relaxation
✨ Feel more grounded, present, and at ease in your body
✨ Begin learning simple Tai Chi movements step by step
✨ Connect with a gentle, supportive community
This class is ideal if you:
🌿 Feel tired or overwhelmed at the end of the day
🌿 Want to ground your body and calm your mind before sleep
🌿 Struggle with stress, anxiety, or restless nights
🌿 Want a gentle holistic practice that nourishes your whole self
🌿 Are curious about Tai Chi / Qi Gong and how they work
🌿 Are a complete beginner looking for a soft and supportive start
No prior experience is needed — movements are simple, adaptable, and can be practised standing or seated.
🕠 **Time:** Tuesdays, 5:30 – 6:30 pm
📅 **New term starts:** 21st April till the end of June.
📍 **Location:** Greenmeadow Community Centre, Level 1
💰 **Cost:**

Come as you are, slow down, and learn to move with ease — drawing strength from heaven and earth 🌿
