About this Event
Start your morning off in the right way by joining me for 1 hour of morning Qi Gong in the park.
The class focuses on breathing, stretching, rotating, and posturing to relieve tension, cultivate energy, and promote healing. It's like a mediation in movement. It is light, relaxing, and yet energizing at the same time. You will be standing for the duration of the class.
We will be practicing the Marrow Cleansing and 8 Brocade movements.
Please donate what you can, but $10 is recommended and appreciated.
Location: Cheviot Hills Park.
When entering into the parking lot, if you are facing the park, drive all the way down to the right end of the parking lot and up the access road to the Easton-Rancho Archery range parking lot. (Parking is free). There is a huge beautiful Ash tree that you will find me under.
What to bring:
comfortable shoes with minimal to no padding, comfortable clothes, water, and bug spray if you think you might need it. The ground might be a little moist.
Who am I?
My name is Heng Chou, but you can call me Natalie if that is easier. I've been studying and teaching Qi Gong for 4 years now. I am a 35th Generation Shaolin disciple and lived monastically for three years in the Shaolin Temple in LA where I learned meditation, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Chanting, Tea cermony, and Kung Fu. These are ancient movements passed down from master to disciple for many generations since around 500 CE. I am happy to share with you the treasure and medicine of Shaolin temple.
