About this Event
QEII40 is a special event to mark 40 years since the opening of the QEII Law Courts at Derby Square, Liverpool. It is being held in association with the Northern Circuit of the Bar.
Everyone who has had anything to do with the work of the court over these years - in a professional capacity! - is invited to join us for this celebration.
We will be serving drinks and canapes
There will also be a fantastic photo exhibition showing the changing personnel - judges, staff, members of the legal community and many others who have made such a positive contribution to the life and work of the court.
When first officially opened in 1984, the QEII accommodated crime, civil and family work. The building is now used by the Crown Court, the Magistrates' Court, Liverpool District Probate Registry and the Liverpool Youth Court.
It is one of the largest and busiest court centres in the country.
