Please join us for a lovely evening of music and belly dance! The Roses of the Realm and Traust brewery have combined forces to bring you all our fifth Queen City Shimmy Night!
What should you expect?
The evening will be featuring live music and live belly dance performances from dancers across the Carolinas. In the first set, dancers will perform with live music from our local band Sonem. In the second set, dancers will have recorded music that they have prepared routines in advance just for you!
If you’ve ever wanted to see all levels / multiple genres of belly dancing in a fun family friendly environment, this is the event for you!
There will be drinks and food!!!! Sonem will have a few group dances for everyone to shake it at the end of the event!!! (think Drum jam post faire vibes but with live music from sonem) We can’t wait to see all your smiling faces as we shimmy our hearts out!!

Is there a door fee?
NO, this is a FREE show. However there will be QR codes at every table and tip baskets up front, if you'd like to tip the performers! We have tip share for every person that participates in this FREE event. (Dancers, musicians, and Emcee)
Should I get there early for a seat?
Yes. The brewery takes reservations for this event and we would highly recommend calling in advance! We will be in the main room for this event, seats are first come first serve!
What is parking like?
FREE Parking is located in front, beside, and behind the brewery.
