Join us for a sit down Q+A with Markelle Grabo in conversation with David Ferraro at the Well Red Damsel!
Doors will open for the event at 6pm. The Q+A will start at 6:30pm. There will be a signing with Markelle and David following the Q+A for those interested.

Markelle Grabo retells the fairy tales that frustrate her, which, based on that guideline, could include nearly all of them. Her YA fantasy novels, Call Forth a Fox and The Redwood Bargain, are steeped in woodsy atmosphere and sapphic yearning. She earned her master’s degree in creative writing for children and young adults from Hamline University and lives in the Greater Chicago Area with her husband and two very fluffy cats.
About The Redwood Bargain:
To free her cousin from an indentured contract, Katrien agrees to fulfill their lord’s bargain with the fabled “Redwood Man.” Three maids before her have posed as his stepdaughter, Lady Zaviera, and met this lord of the forest as promised. But Katrien means to be the first to fool him―and live.
