The Beneski Museum of Natural history, one of the largest Natural History Museums in New England, has three floors exhibiting displays of internationally significant fossils, minerals, footprints, and other specimens from all over the world. Join other queer geeks & artists who love dinosaurs, fossils, rocks/minerals, and drawing inspiration from the past and how it gets preserved & presented in a colonial world.
Step inside the museum and you’ll find:
- Dramatic displays of fossil skeletons, from fish to dinosaurs to Ice Age megafauna
- An extraordinary collection of dinosaur footprints
- Geological specimens and immersive exhibits that tell the history of the local landscape through geologic time, including when dinosaurs inhabited the area
- Mineral specimens from around the world and meteorites from beyond Earth
EVENT FEE/DONATIONS:
FREE & of course we'd appreciate a completely optional small to support the more than 25 social/networking, recreation/wellness, & arts/culture activities Q-MoB provides every month for rural queer men all over Western Mass.
