Pysanky Eggs WorkshopJoin us to learn more about this old world craft from our artist J Austin Jennings.
Pysanky (Or Pysanka for singular) are traditional Ukrainian decorative eggs made using wax-resist techniques with colorful dyes.
Pysanky are known for their intricate patterns, bright colors, and symbolic designs. We thought this would be a perfect way to celebrate spring and prepare for Easter.
Because of the use of melted beeswax, we encourage adults only to sign up. Anyone age under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Each person should be able to finish two to three complete designed eggs by the end of the workshop to take home.
All materials and tools are provided for your use during the class! just come and have fun!
