As part of our 2026 season, we will be performing Pygmalion!Written in 1912 by Irish playwright Bernard Shaw, Pygmalion sees Eliza Doolittle, a lowly flower girl on the streets of London, transformed into a refined duchess the arrogant phoneticist Henry Higgins and his genteel friend, Colonel Pickering. This witty critique of the British class system explores identity and transformation as Eliza develops her own voice and self-worth, ultimately challenging the "creator" who overlooks her humanity.
Auditions will be held on the 18th of April at Cafe Trojka (Dominikánská 9, 602 00 Brno-střed) between 14:00 and 18:00.
There will be a series of cast meetings in May and June before we start rehearsals in July. Performance dates are yet to be scheduled but we are aiming for mid-late October.
