Happy April!
We'll be kicking off our PWP Bags & Brews 'Bring on the Rain!' River Cleanup at 10 AM on the Riverwalk behind the Toyota Dealership (near the old Noah's Ark Shelter Parking Lot)! We'll kick off the morning with yummy spring treats and a community rally for lots of rain coming in April to help us kick off a wet(ter) spring!
Then we'll clean up for about an hour with a great group of folks, followed by heading over to a local pub for post-cleanup celebrations!

Details for PWP Bags & Brews River Cleanup:
Date: Saturday April 4, 2026
Time: 10 AM
Location: Meet at the old Noah's Ark Shelter dirt parking lot (behind the Toyota Dealership) in downtown Trinidad. To get there drive past the Toyota dealership and make a left, then follow the dirt road as it curves to the right and heads toward the basketball courts (and you'll see folks gathered)
What Is Provided: Trash bags, brand new gloves, water, brand new safety vests, disinfecting wipes
What to Bring: Whatever additional personal protective gear you would like - sunscreen, hat, mask, personal water bottle, your own gloves if you'd rather, etc
Logistics:
10:00 AM - We'll hand out supplies, chat community updates, then start walking the river. You can leave your filled bags along the edge of the Riverwalk, or bring them back to the starting location. The event organizers will check the Riverwalk at the end of the event and collect all bags left along the way.
11:30 AM - We'll head over to a local pub for a post-event social and celebration!
