“History of Quilting in Loudoun County”
Since the arrival of Quakers to Loudoun County in 1733, quilting has been a popular activity in our county. Today there are over 80 members in the Waterford Quilt Guild.
Our presenter, Priscilla Godfrey has been quilting since 1977 having been introduced to quilting by a friend at work in DC. She was a member of the National Quilting Association until it closed in 2014.
