IT’S OFFICIAL! We are having a puzzle swap on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 10th. Full details below.
WHAT: PUZZLE SWAP
WHEN: Sunday, November 10th: 11:00am to 1:00pm
WHO: Myself and Charley McCormack are co-hosting the event.
WHERE: Green Thumb Theatre, 5560 McKinnon Street, Vancouver, BC
PARKING: Parking is available in the Green Thumb Theatre lot. If the stalls are full, feel free to park next to the fencing to the north, ensuring that traffic can still pass through.
TRANSIT: Buses #19, #26, #41, #R4 all serve this location, each stopping no further than 300 meters from the hall.
Some things of note:
1. Due to venue capacity, we must limit this event to 50 participants. As such, registration will be required. Please see below for details on how to do so.
2. There will be a $5 entry fee to cover the cost of the space and some door prizes. If this is a barrier of entry, please DM myself or Charley. Please e-transfer your entry fee to [email protected]. If you are unable to access e-transfer, please DM Liam for assistance.
3. The tables will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are a limited number, but we will endeavour to utilize them as best as we can.
4. We are seeking a volunteer or two to welcome folks in and collect door prize ballots. If you’re able to assist (even just for a little bit), please DM me!
5. While this event is intended to be a swap, folks are allowed to sell their puzzles if a swap can’t be established.
6. The space is accessible with wide flat pathways into the building, and button-activated doors.
7. Masks are welcome, but not mandatory. Please respect everyone’s own personal comfort around this. Unscented hand sanitizer will be available!
8. There are bike racks!
9. We will have a “free” area for any puzzles you want to put up for adoption.
